Discount savings
Calculate the sale price and saving from one percentage discount.
How this estimate works
Saving = original price × discount / 100. Sale price = original price − saving.
One percentage discount on the entered original price. Excludes tax, delivery, fees, rebates, and stacked offers. The saving is a price difference, not money earned or automatically added to savings.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Bring the right numbers.
Estimates are enough to explore. Keep every money amount in the same
selected currency.
01
The original price before the discount.
02
One discount expressed as a percentage.
03
Any extra charges to consider outside the estimate.
MAKE THE RESULT USEFUL
What to look for.
Compare the final price with what you intended to spend, not just the size of the discount. Confirm the original price and check additional charges separately. A lower price does not change whether the purchase fits your budget.
Your calculator inputs are not included in your inquiry.
TRY ANOTHER SCENARIO
Change one thing.
Notice the difference.
Compare two discount percentages on the same original price. If comparing two shops, update the original price as well; a larger percentage does not always mean a lower final price.
Changing inputs here does not send them to Matt or save them between
visits.
A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Can I add two discount percentages together?
Not for successive discounts. Two discounts are usually applied in sequence to different amounts. This tool applies only one percentage to the original price you enter.
Are tax and shipping included?
No. Add those separately when comparing the actual total you would pay. Discount rules and which charges are eligible can differ between sellers.
